Every responder can now pick how its trigger is matched. All four ignore upper and lower case:
| Mode | Fires when |
|---|---|
exact | The whole message is the trigger |
startswith | The message begins with the trigger |
endswith | The message ends with the trigger |
includes | The trigger appears anywhere, even inside a word |
Set it when you add a responder with --match startswith, or change it later with ,autoresponder match (trigger) (mode). default goes back to greed's normal matching, which is still what every existing responder uses, so nothing you already have behaves differently. You can also pick the mode in /configure and in the dashboard's responder editor.
Two new commands: ,autoresponder editreply (trigger) (reply) changes a reply, and ,autoresponder view (trigger) shows one responder's mode, options and reply.
Replies can now use placeholders and functions on top of greed scripts:
[$1] is the first word after the trigger, [$2+] everything from the second word, [$1-3] words one to three. {requirearg:1|user} only replies when argument 1 is a member.{choose:a|b|c}, weighted {weightedchoose:rare 20%|common 80%}, {lockedchoose} and {range:1-10}.{silent} to hide the "you can't use this" reply.{cooldown:30}, {delete}, {delete_reply:10}, {dm}, {sendto:#channel}, {react:๐}, {reactreply:๐}, link buttons, and {addrole}, {removerole} and {setnick} on the member who triggered it or on [$1].Role and nickname actions never use dangerous roles, integration roles, @everyone or anything above greed, and only change members ranked below the person who triggered them. When you set a responder up, you can only use roles below your own highest role; the server owner can use any role greed can assign. The full list is on the autoresponder page.
Run ,embed create with nothing after it and greed opens a builder: a live preview of your embed with buttons to edit the basics (title, description and colour), the author, the footer and timestamp, the images, the message text and the fields. When it looks right, Save it to your saved embeds or Send it to the channel. Everything you build is an ordinary greed script, so it works in welcome messages, autoresponders and everywhere else. ,embed create (script) works exactly as before.
Anywhere greed takes an embed, you can now paste Discord message JSON, like a Discohook export: a full message with several embeds, a single embed, or Discohook's own format. The builder has Import JSON and Export JSON buttons too. Link buttons come across; other buttons and fixed timestamps do not (a timestamp becomes the time the message is sent).
Partnerships open at greed.best/partnerships, for two kinds of partner.
When greed joins a server, its welcome message now puts each button next to what it does: Get set up (Automatic Setup in the server, or the setup dashboard in the owner's DM), the owner's welcome Premium discount, and, for servers with 500 or more members, an invitation to apply for partnership.
When greed runs a sale, discounted prices show on the Premium page, in a banner across the site and everywhere greed offers Premium in Discord, with a countdown to when it ends. Sale prices apply to card and crypto checkout; purchases made inside Discord stay at Discord's price.
