Question 1

What is greed?

Accepted Answer

greed is a multipurpose Discord bot built around keeping a server safe and easy to run — moderation and antinuke, automod and antiraid, levels and economy, music, tickets, giveaways, starboard, welcome and logging, plus platform lookups and AI tools. Everything has a page on the web dashboard as well as a command.

Question 2

How do I add greed?

Accepted Answer

Click Add to Discord anywhere on this site and pick your server — you need the Manage Server permission on it. Inviting with administrative permissions is recommended so the security and moderation modules work correctly.

Question 3

What should I do first?

Accepted Answer

Run ,setup once. It creates the roles the moderation system needs (imute, rmute, jailed) and the greed-mod channel category, so jail, mutes and logging work straight away. After that, enable antinuke or set up your welcome and invoke messages.

Question 4

What is the prefix?

Accepted Answer

The default prefix is a comma — ,help gets you started. Change it with ,prefix set (symbol), or mention the bot at any time to see the current prefix for that server.

Question 5

Do I have to configure greed with commands?

Accepted Answer

No. Log in with Discord, pick your server, and every setting has a page on the dashboard — automation, feeds, security, logging, tickets, levels and the rest. The commands stay available if you prefer them.

Question 6

Is greed free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Core commands are free. Premium raises the rate limits and the per-feature caps, and some AI tools have daily limits on the free tier to keep the service stable for everyone.

Question 7

Why does greed tell me to slow down?

Accepted Answer

Commands run on a rate limit: 5 every 5 seconds per user, and 30 every 10 seconds across a server. Voting for greed on top.gg doubles your personal limit to 10 for 12 hours, and premium raises it to 15 per user and 60 per server.

Question 8

What does premium include?

Accepted Answer

User Premium follows your account into every server: triple the command rate, the server-wide limit stops applying to you, 200 AI questions a day instead of 15, and image generation. Server Premium covers a whole community with premium antiraid, 500 autoresponders and reaction roles, 3 years of analytics, and server backups.

Question 9

What platforms does greed support?

Accepted Answer

Last.fm, Spotify, X, TikTok, GitHub, Roblox, Rolimons, Valorant, Fortnite, Minecraft and crypto — with lookups, profiles, media and related tools. Feeds can post new TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Instagram, Pinterest, SoundCloud and X activity straight into a channel.

Question 10

Can greed play music?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It plays high-quality audio from a range of sources with queues, playlists and DJ role controls, and the queue and library are browsable from the web player.

Question 11

What AI features are available?

Accepted Answer

Ask questions, generate and edit images, text-to-speech, transcription and OCR, all from Discord. Free accounts get 15 questions and 10 OCR reads a day; premium raises that to 200 and 100, and unlocks image generation.

Question 12

Where can I see every command?

Accepted Answer

Browse the full live command list on the Commands page. It stays in sync with what greed actually ships, and the documentation covers each module in more detail.

Question 13

Where can I get help?

Accepted Answer

Join the greed support Discord from the navigation bar for help, feature requests and updates.
