Terms of Service

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS COVERS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you" or "your") and NURVA APP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as greed ("we," "us," or "our").

They cover the greed Discord bot, the dashboard at greed.best, our API, and our documentation and support channels (together, the "Service"). By adding greed to a server, using its commands, or signing in to the dashboard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, remove the bot and stop using the Service.

greed runs on Discord. Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply to you at all times, and nothing here overrides them. Where these Terms and Discord's rules conflict, Discord's rules win.

WHO MAY USE GREED

• You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement for your country. If you are not old enough to use Discord, you are not old enough to use greed.
• To add greed to a server you must have the authority to do so, which normally means Manage Server or Administrator.
• Some features need specific Discord permissions. If you do not grant them, those features simply will not work.

IF YOU RUN A SERVER WITH GREED IN IT

Adding greed makes you responsible for how it is configured and used in your server. In particular:

• You decide which features are enabled, who can use them, and which moderation actions greed is allowed to take on your behalf.
• Moderation, automod, anti-nuke and anti-raid features act automatically on your configuration. You are responsible for the outcome, including any action taken against your own members.
• You are responsible for telling your members that a bot is in use where your local law requires it.
• Content your members create through greed — custom messages, embeds, scripts, tickets, and similar — is yours and theirs, not ours. We do not review it before it is sent.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

• Use greed to break the law, or to harass, threaten, dox, defraud, or abuse anyone.
• Use greed to mass-DM, spam, raid, or otherwise disrupt other servers or users.
• Deliberately overload the Service — abusing commands, scripting or automating requests, or trying to work around rate limits.
• Probe, exploit, or attempt to bypass our security, authentication, permission checks, or premium gating.
• Scrape, resell, rebrand, or redistribute the Service, or pass it off as your own.
• Bring greed back to a server that was previously removed for breaking these Terms.

We may add limits or throttles to keep the Service stable, and we may act on abuse without warning.

REPORTS ABOUT OTHER SERVERS

We are not a moderator of Discord at large. We have no reliable way to verify claims about what happens inside a server we are not part of, and we do not act as a court between members or staff.

If a server breaks Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, report it to Discord at dis.gd/support. We will, however, act on reports about greed itself being used to abuse people, and we cooperate with lawful requests.

YOUR DATA

Running greed means processing some data about servers and users. What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

PREMIUM, PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

• Premium is optional. greed's core features are free, and premium raises limits and unlocks extra features.
• Premium is sold per user, per server, or as a one-off customization add-on. Which one you bought determines where it applies.
• Payments are handled by third-party processors, including Discord. We never see or store your full card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling keeps premium active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Prices, plans and premium features can change. We will not change what you have already paid for mid-term.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. We may restrict access across our services following a refund or chargeback.

SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows, including:

• Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation
• Any guaranteed level of uptime or availability
• Advance notice of maintenance, downtime, or feature changes
• That any moderation, anti-nuke, anti-raid, or automod feature will catch every incident

Automated protection features are a safety net, not a guarantee. They depend on Discord delivering events to us and on your configuration, and they can miss things. Do not rely on greed as your only safeguard, and keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

We also depend on Discord and other third parties. When they go down or change how they work, parts of greed may stop working, and that is outside our control.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NURVA APP LTD, TRADING AS GREED, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Unauthorized access to, or alteration of, your Discord server or its data
• Moderation actions taken, or not taken, by automated features you configured
• Actions or omissions of third parties, including Discord
• Data loss, corruption, or compromise arising from use of the Service
• Economic losses arising from the Service or its unavailability
• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the Service
• Personal injury or property damage of any nature

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY OR FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, WARRANTY, OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights your local law gives you.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service, your configuration of it, or your breach of these Terms.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBITRATION

Most problems are quicker to solve by email. Before starting formal proceedings, contact us at [email protected] and give us 30 days to resolve it.

AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that we cannot resolve informally shall be settled by final and binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER

Claims must be arbitrated individually, not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

ARBITRATION PROCEDURES

• Arbitration is conducted by a neutral arbitrator
• Arbitration is conducted online or in your local jurisdiction
• Each party bears their own costs
• The arbitrator's decision is final and binding

EXCEPTIONS

Nothing here waives either party's right to: (a) bring an individual action in small claims court; (b) pursue enforcement through applicable government agencies; or (c) seek injunctive relief in aid of arbitration.

30-DAY RIGHT TO OPT OUT

You may opt out of arbitration and the class action waiver by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for a user or an entire server, without prior notice, including for:

• Breach of these Terms or our acceptable use rules
• Abuse of the Service or attempts to overload or exploit it
• Breach of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Fraudulent payments or chargebacks
• Legal or safety reasons

You can stop using greed at any time by removing it from your server. Removing the bot does not automatically delete stored configuration — see the Privacy Policy for how to request deletion. Sections on liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms as greed changes. When we make a significant change we will update the effective date above, and where it materially affects your rights we will make a reasonable effort to announce it in our support server. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
