/ticket is a slash command now. Run /ticket setup and press Quick setup: greed creates a Ticket Support role (or uses one you pick), an #open-a-ticket channel with the panel already posted, a private #ticket-logs channel and, for channel tickets, a Tickets category. Give the role to your staff and you're done.
The same setup is offered when you first add greed, in Automatic Setup inside your server and on the onboarding page of the dashboard, and from the Quick setup button on the dashboard's Tickets page.
Every panel now picks how its tickets open:
| Channels | Private threads | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | One channel per ticket, in a category | A private thread under the panel |
| Who sees it | The member, support roles and admins | The member, support roles and people with Manage Threads |
| Counts toward Discord's 500 channels | Yes | No |
| Move, hide and re-permission | Yes | No |
When greed can't open a ticket, the member is told the real reason: a blocked role, an account that's too new, joining the server too recently, support being closed, the panel being full, or a missing permission, with what to fix. If a ticket category was deleted or is full, greed makes a new Tickets category instead of failing.
New per-option rules: blocked roles, minimum account age, minimum time in the server, and on the panel a limit on open tickets in total.
Write your hours like mon-fri 09:00-17:00; sat 10:00-14:00 and set a timezone. Outside them a panel can open tickets with a notice that a reply may take longer, or refuse new tickets until support opens.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/ticket requestclose [timeout] [reason] | Asks the member to confirm the close. With a timeout, it closes on its own. Also a Request close button on every ticket. |
/ticket add / /ticket remove | Let a member or role in, or take them out. |
/ticket transfer (option) | Hand the ticket to another ticket type and its team. |
/ticket open (member) | Open a ticket for someone. |
/ticket request (member) | DM a member a button to open a ticket. |
/ticket new | Shows every ticket type as buttons. |
/ticket leaderboard / /ticket history | Staff rankings and a member's past tickets. |
/ticket statusboard post | A live message with open, waiting and today's tickets, updated every minute. |
Options can also remind staff when a ticket has waited too long for a reply, and give the member roles while their ticket is open, when it's claimed, or when it closes.
Open a ticket by itself when someone says something: on keywords, a pattern, or every message in a channel. greed tells the member where their ticket is and can alert a staff channel. Free servers get 3 automations; Server Premium gets 25. Manage them with ,ticket automation or on the dashboard's new Automations tab.
/ticket resolve reads a ticket and tells staff, privately, what it's about, what's missing and what to do next. Turn on AI asks for missing details and greed asks up to three short follow-up questions when a member's first message is too vague.
See the Tickets docs for everything about tickets.
Pick a level: Relaxed for small or friendly servers, Balanced for most, Strict for large or targeted ones. Run ,security setup (or ,security setup strict), or open Security → Anti-nuke on the dashboard, pick a level and press Apply this level. The card then shows which level you are on. greed:
