Giveaway claims, awards and the developer API

greed·

Claim time

Giveaways can now ask winners to claim their prize. The winner announcement and each winner's DM get a Claim prize button, and the announcement shows when the window closes. If a winner does not press it in time, greed picks a new winner from the remaining entries, and that winner gets their own window. Nobody who already won or missed a claim for that giveaway is picked again.

WhereHow
One giveaway,giveaway start 1d 1 Nitro --claim 1h
Every giveaway in the server, giveaway claimtime 1h, or Claim window in /configure under Giveaways
Turn it off,giveaway claimtime off

The window can be 1 minute to 7 days. It needs DM winners turned on (,giveaway dmwinners).

Awards

Run ,giveaway award on a running or ended giveaway (reply to it or pass its message ID) and type a link, a code or instructions into the private form, up to 1,000 characters. greed sends it by DM to each winner. With a claim time, winners get it the moment they claim; if their DMs are closed, they see it privately when they press Claim prize. The award is never posted in the channel, never shown back on the dashboard or the API, and never stored in the audit log.

The greed API

Your own website, bot or service can now work with your server's tickets and giveaways. Open Developer API on the dashboard (you need Manage Server) to create API keys and pick what each key may do:

ScopeAllows
tickets:readReading tickets, their messages and transcripts
tickets:writeReplying to, claiming and closing tickets
giveaways:readReading giveaways, entries and claims
giveaways:writeStarting, ending and rerolling giveaways, and setting awards

Keys are shown once. Rotating a key keeps the old one working for 24 hours so you can switch without downtime, and revoking stops it immediately. Every change made with a key shows up in the audit log with the key's name.

Webhooks

Add an endpoint and pick events, and greed sends a signed request the moment something happens: tickets opened, claimed, closed, reopened or deleted, transcripts saved, giveaways started and ended, winners picked, prizes claimed and claims missed. Every request carries a greed-signature header you can verify with your signing secret. Failed deliveries are retried for about 8 hours, and the dashboard lists the last 50 deliveries with a Send again button.
